The engine
The court is everywhere. Starting in your living room.
Tennis-specific athleticism without a gym: strength, mobility, prevention – in sessions that fit between the client call and dinner.
Sound familiar?
Tennis is decided in the legs and the core – yet almost everyone trains only the strokes. And the gym? Between job and family, a fantasy. So athletic work stays what it is for most players: a resolution.
Tennis-specific means point-relevant
No beach-muscle aesthetics. Every exercise has a court connection: single-leg strength for wide balls, core rotation for depth, shoulder stability for 200 serves a week, jump power for the overhead.
No equipment, no excuses
The entire program runs on bodyweight – optionally a water bottle, towel, resistance band. 15, 30 or 45-minute versions of every session. Your living room at 6:45 am is enough.
Prevention built in, not bolted on
Tennis elbow, shoulder, knees, back: prevention blocks are woven into the plan, steered by your load. You barely notice them – until you're still playing injury-free in five years.
Recovery-driven
The athletic sessions talk to your wearable data: on a bad recovery day, strength becomes mobility. MatchGrit doesn't train you against your body – it trains you with it.

FAQ
Does this replace a gym?
For tennis-specific athleticism: mostly yes. If you want to build maximal strength on top, gym sessions can be planned as an option.
I'm over 50 – is this too intense?
Intensity scales with level, age and recovery. Prevention and mobility matter more with age – the plan accounts for that.
Do I need experience?
No. Every exercise comes with a video guide and a regression variant if something is too hard.
